About Us

The Bee Wild Project was born out of a passion to protect our planet’s natural beauty and essential ecosystems—starting right in our own back garden. We are a team of dedicated environmentalists, community members, and nature enthusiasts who believe that even the smallest actions can drive big change. United by a commitment to sustainability and biodiversity, we founded The Bee Wild Project with one mission: to restore and protect habitats that support thriving bee populations, diverse wildlife, and resilient ecosystems.

Why We Started

We started The Bee Wild Project after witnessing the alarming decline in bee populations and the devastating effects of habitat loss in our local areas. Recognising that bees are critical not only for pollinating plants but also for maintaining the balance of entire ecosystems, we felt compelled to act. By rewilding local landscapes and creating safe havens for pollinators, we saw an opportunity to foster real environmental change from the ground up.

What We’re Bringing to the World

Through rewilding and habitat restoration, The Bee Wild Project is transforming underutilised land into vibrant ecosystems that benefit people, pollinators, and the planet. Our work brings tangible benefits:

  • Biodiversity: Rewilded areas support a range of plants, insects, and animals, helping to create balanced ecosystems.
  • Sustainable Communities: Our efforts inspire sustainable practices, empowering individuals and businesses to reduce their environmental impact.
  • Pollinator Support: Healthy bee populations play a crucial role in global food security and natural growth cycles.

Climate Resilience: Restored habitats improve air and water quality, store carbon, and reduce soil erosion.

Starting Local, Growing Global

Our journey began in local gardens and green spaces, and we’re expanding our reach every day. We believe that the key to global impact lies in community-driven change. By supporting biodiversity right where we live, we’re setting a powerful example of what’s possible and empowering others to join us in rewilding the world, one square metre at a time.
